Monday has become spaghetti night around here. Husband-o teaches late on Monday and Wednesday nights this quarter, so we have been left to the mercy of my cooking. Now, it's not that I cook badly. I just only have a few dishes that I do. I'm not the type of person that can pull a bunch of stuff out of the cupboard and throw together a meal. Sort of a one-trick pony (maybe 3 or 4 tricks). So it has become known around here that Monday night is spaghetti night and Wednesdays are typically pizza or chicken divan.
Well, tonight I made chicken breast and I actually seasoned it with something other than garlic powder! I steamed some broccoli, and served it with left over potato salad. Not my usual, by a long shot. So, I just want the world to know, I can cook something other than spaghetti, burritos, chicken divan and pizza. And tonight's dinner is much more diet friendly. I didn't eat any of the potatoes.
:)
Concert tomorrow night in the city. Can't wait.

Well lookie lookie, she knows hows to cookie! Something besides garlic powder?! I am amazed. FYI - salt and pepper don't count: they are standard spices.
Does this mean no killer chocolate cake tomorrow at Max's in city?
Who's bondo?
Salt and pepper AND cumin! Hah!
Can we get the cake to go and eat it after I weigh in on Wednesday? ;)
