Seriously considering going back to school to get a master's degree in education. I went to an information meeting this morning about it. Funny thing is, when I finished my undergrad eleven years ago (yikes, gettin old), I didn't want to ever go back to school again. No need, I thought. Teaching doesn't require a graduate degree.
Now, I've started taking on some leadership roles in my district, and the school I'm looking at will take that to the next level. The good news and the bad news is that the program only takes a year to complete. So, I could have a master's degree by May '08. Of course I'll have to work my ass of between now and then!
Not sure I have what it takes, but that is my M.O. Self doubt is my nemesis.
