Today Nov and I waved goodbye to our Palomares Hills home for the last time. It took us over a week to get all of our stuff out of it, and we were VERY excited to take the last load of stuff out.
So, it's "goodbye renting, hello homeownership"!

Once we have the boxes that are FILLING our garage unpacked and finish painting in my room, I'll take some pics and post them here. Hopefully that will be around the first of the year! Until then,

Congrats on the new home! I totally understand what a big deal it is to buy a house in CA.
Nice flooring job, btw. (My hubby used to be in the flooring biz.) Are you guys going to go all remodel crazy or will you just relax for a while?

We don't have the money to go remodel crazy, but we are fixing up little things here and there. Like we painted all of the interior walls, and plan to replace doors that don't close all the way. Little things. Maybe in a year or two when we both have a few raises under our belts, we can do more. :o)
